I'd Rather Be Flying

I'd rather be flying, I'd rather be soaring
 Through the crisp open air
 Opening my wings to catch the wind under me 

Laughing & playing with the clouds
 Soaring high above the Earth
 Embracing it all, Feeling alive
  I'd rather be flying

Flying high on a flying trapeze
 The sky beneath my feet
 Dancing on the air
 Adrenaline pumping, soaring with glee
 I'd rather be flying

Diving deep into the ocean blue
 Floating weightless, like a dream
 Moving gently through the water
 just like flying it would seem
 I'd rather be flying

Gliding gracefully across the Earth

Skating by, seeing for all it's worth
 Never stopping, going faster
 I'd rather be flying

Seeing the world, for all that it has
 Embracing life, the good & bad
 Never stop living, never stop trying
 Forever & ever I will be flying
